Site Settings

Site Settings is where you change the details that appear all across your website — your logo, phone number, email address, social links and footer. Changing them here updates them everywhere on the site at once.

  1. Log in to the WordPress admin (see Getting started).
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Site Settings (look for the gear icon).

You will see a settings page split into tabs. Each tab groups related fields together. Click a tab name to switch to it.

  • Header Logo — the logo shown at the top of every page.
  • Footer Logo — the logo shown in the footer at the bottom of every page.

Both are image uploads. To change one, click it, choose or upload a new image, and select it.

  • Email Address — the email address shown on the site.
  • Phone Number (Display) — the phone number exactly as you want it to read on the page, for example 07 1234 5678.
  • Phone Number (tel: link) — the same number in international format so that tapping it on a phone dials correctly, for example +61712345678.
  • Address / Location — your business address or location.
  • Facebook URL — the full link to your Facebook page.
  • Instagram URL — the full link to your Instagram profile.
  • LinkedIn URL — the full link to your LinkedIn page.

Paste the complete web address (starting with https://) for each. Leave a field blank if you do not have that profile.

  • CTA Button Text — the words on the call-to-action button in the site header, for example Get a quote.
  • CTA Button URL — where that button takes people when clicked.
  • Footer Tagline — a short line of text in the footer.
  • Copyright Text — the copyright line at the very bottom.
  • Privacy Policy URL — the link to your privacy policy page.

When you have made your changes, click Update.
