Editing pages & sections

Your website uses a custom theme. Instead of one big block of text, each page is built from a stack of content sections — a hero at the top, then blocks of text, buttons and images below it. You edit a page by changing the fields inside those sections.

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Pages.
  2. Click the Home page to open it.
  3. Scroll down past the title to the content sections. Each section has its own labelled fields, such as:
    • Hero heading and subheading — the big text at the top.
    • CTA button text and CTA button URL — the wording and destination of a button.
    • Body text — the paragraphs within a section.
  4. Change the values in the fields you want to update.
  5. Click Update to save.

The same approach works for your service pages: Services, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and Contact.

  1. Go to Pages and open the page you want to edit.
  2. Find the section and the field you want to change.
  3. Edit the field value — for example, rewrite a hero heading, change a button’s text, or update a paragraph.
  4. Click Update.
  • You are only ever editing field values — the words, links and images. You should never edit code.
  • Some pages are section-driven by the theme, meaning the layout is fixed and you simply fill in the content for each section. You cannot rearrange the page structure from here, and you do not need to.
  • If a field controls a button, there are usually two parts: the text (what the button says) and the URL (where it goes). Update both as needed.

If you ever feel unsure which field controls what, change one field, click Update, and view the live page to see the effect. If something does not look right, see Getting help.
